Hi Richard and Elaine, Tobi and I stayed with you on the 29th of Dec. We both felt we should leave a testimonial on here to encourage others to stay with you also, should they be in Geraldine. Thank you both so much for your hospitality, kindness, company and food. We have stayed in multitudes of hotels and motels and B&B's but we have never been more impressed by a hotel. All these places lack the warmth that we received staying with you both. Great chats over home cooked meals and dessert then followed by port and whisky over. Tobi and I couldnt have felt more welcome and to finish off our night with a spa under the stars. This was the last day of our holiday and we couldn't have dreamt up a better way to spend it. Our only regret is that we didn't stay there longer. Thank you again for everything and hopefully you won't have to wake up so early to make us breakfast next time. lol. Good luck with all the future ventures with bringing change to Geraldine, we both look forward to seeing all your efforts come to fruition when we return. All the best and look forward to crossing paths in the near future again. 5 star experience accomodation doesn't fit our experience because it was well worth more stars! We recently stayed as guests with the Taylors - we stayed for two days and each was a delight - we arrived tired after a long drive - the welcome was a just a taster to the best hospitality I have had in New Zealand. The room was fabulous food excellent the wine memorable and the company - well we were treated like family. Consummate perfection in both service and facilities would adequately summarise our wonderful stay with Elaine and Richard at Brophy Road, Geraldine.  The arrival to this stunning location with 360° panoramic views from the heights on the fringe of Geraldine begins a world class journey of fine hospitality which offers either discreetness and privacy or the company of the hosts, with supreme luxury accommodation designed through the global experience of the hosts with features that both surprise and delight.  From the sublime comfort of the beds, the ergonomically perfect baths, beautiful bathrooms and fittings and quietness which only the countryside provides leaves us longing to come back again.   This beautiful region of New Zealand’s South Island  is one of nature’s secrets featuring world class mountain scenery, and unique regional offerings which capture the real essence of country living at it’s best.  We also took the opportunity to ski at Mount Hutt which we reached comfortably as a day trip.  Highly recommended as a very special travel experience. From the moment we entered their home it  was clear from the warm welcome that, for Richard and Elaine,  hosting is a very important element of the Taylor’s of Geraldine happening.  They were friendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable about the local area and always available to help in any way needed …5-star hospitality.  The luxurious, well equipped room with incredible views over the outstanding scenery, irresistible breakfasts along with luscious dinners gave us 5-star accommodation.  Overall, a 5-star experience to be repeated just as soon as we can manage!
